Sarah Farthing
Registered Psychologist | Teacher
I am a Registered Psychologist as well as an accredited Teacher. I offer a warm, friendly, and culturally sensitive approach.
I hold a Bachelor of Psychology Honors Degree, alongside a Masters in Secondary Education. I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and comply with the Child Protection (Working with Children) and Other Child Protection Legislation Amendment Act 2016.

I have worked in the field of paediatric mental health since 2008 and have extensive training and experience in the area. I am highly skilled and experienced in psychometric assessment and delivering evidence based strategies for children and adolescence. My previous roles include: School Counsellor in behavioural special school settings, single sex settings as well as comprehensive co-educational schools (DET); Behaviour Support Consultant (FACS); as well as Child and Youth Counsellor (Family Support Service - NGO). I am currently employed by the Department of Education as a School Counsellor. This wealth of experience has resulted in having a well-rounded and comprehensive skill set for delivering effective psychological support, as well as test administration for children and adolescence with a broad range of emotional, social, behavioural and neurodevelopmental presentations.
